Torre Colimena

Our Territory
In the heart of Puglia , in Torre Colimena, a small coastal gem near Manduria, OLIO GAIA is born. Here, the land smells of the sea and centuries-old olive trees, and every drop of our oil tells the story of a land rich in nature and history.
We are located next to the "Salina dei Monaci" Nature Reserve , a protected area enchanting with its pristine beauty. This inlet is home to elegant and rare pink flamingos , which we have chosen to depict on our labels as a symbol of balance and grace, just like our Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Alongside them, Caretta Caretta sea turtles find refuge among the dunes and crystal-clear waters. On the seabed, meanwhile, lie ancient royal sarcophagi , pottery fragments, and sunken treasures from a sunken ship in the 3rd century BC, providing precious inspiration for the stylized details that embellish our designs.
Not far away, the Chidro River flows silently, carrying with it fresh, mineral waters that nourish the soil and enrich the roots of our olive trees. The sea breeze, the saltiness, and the purity of the springs blend in perfect balance, giving rise to an oil with herbaceous and marine aromas, with notes of almond, artichoke, and unripe tomato.
It is here, between water, salt, and sun, that the authentic soul of OLIO GAIA is born.
